Cultivating Resilience, Compassion and Peace

  • Kula Yoga Soho 481 Broadway New York, NY, 10013 United States (map)

WHEN: Sunday November 19, 4-6pm
WHERE: Kula Yoga Soho - 481 Broadway 3rd floor, New York, NY

As a human family we are going through so much. As individuals we all struggle at some point with sickness and injury, mental stress and emotional overload. The Yoga Sutras call these challenges the kleshas, which literally translates to "poisons". But Yoga at its essence is teaching us how to transform poison into medicine, turning our obstacles into our path to freedom.

In this workshop we will explore the practice of Viniyoga (gentle yoga sequences initiated by the breath to give us greater ease in body and mind), followed by Yin Yoga to go deeper into the body's connective tissues and energy channels and Yoga Nidra (yogi sleep) which induces theta brain waves to promote resourceful mind states, physical healing and emotional resilience.

This workshop is for all humans regardless of your level of yoga practice.
